As one of the most vibrant cities in Southeast Asia, Bangkok has the ability to rattle the senses and captivate one’s imagination. Bringing together business, culture, heritage, politics and it’s ever mesmerizing vogues, the city has developed into what many call an international hotspot. Like most major cities in the developing world, the modernization and development of the society and infrastructure within it’s boundaries brings with it some serious ills, like declining environmental health, widespread prostitution and drug abuse etc. but still manages to keep it’s tourist friendly status very well. Through it all Bangkok prides in gelling itself with vigor, something that it’s fast paced urban consumerist lifestyle is all too comfortable with.
